This drop-down menu showcases some of the work I have done and supervised over the last several years.

These projects include print publications, multimedia projects, student publications, video productions and portfolio websites.

You may access the projects through the drop-down menu above, or by clicking the links below.

Multimedia Projects – These are multimedia projects that I have worked on over the years. These are also multi-platform, meaning I used text, photographs, video, and audio elements to tell a single story. Some of the projects included here are collaborative projects as well, most of which I was either the producer or the editor.

Print Projects – These are print projects that I worked on, produced the past few years. These include two magazines I designed, most recently the BioView Magazine centered around research done at the University of Arizona’s Biosphere 2. This project collects some of the best work from a science journalism course taught by Professor Carol Schwalbe, the director of graduate studies at the UA School of Journalism and a retired senior text editor at National Geographic Magazine.

Supervised Projects  – These projects are projects wherein I acted as a coach, mentor or supervisor for different freelancers, videographers and photographers in Tucson and around the country. Since 2004, I have served as a mentor to several young journalists and visual journalists and these will showcase some of the best work they produced.
