A little more about me…
First and foremost, I love my family and my friends. I have a twin brother who is my junior by 10 minutes. But he’s much bigger than me.
I love learning. I love experiencing new things every day. I love meeting new people.
My passion is life.
I have been very fortunate to have had such wonderful friends and life experiences thus far. I am constantly photographing, documenting things with either my camera or my phone. I cannot get enough of life, sometimes…
I have degrees in general biology and journalism from the University of Arizona in Tucson. I have traveled to many destinations in the country, teaching, speaking, and mentoring younger journalists and storytellers. Journalism, to me, is not just reporting bad things, or the silly things, or even the typical human-interests stories. No, journalism to me is a privilege that I have had to listen, take part, and then share the lives and stories of so many people, things and places around me. It has given me so many wonderful opportunities to explore the world through writing and photography.
Science allows me to take the storytelling even further. Deeper into issues, stories and life. I love the human brain. I love humanity.
So many stories to tell in such a short amount of time.
